Elton Ray “Al” Horne, 81, of Herod, IL died April 30, 2018 in Paducah, KY.
He was born in Waukesha, WI on February 25, 1937 to the late Melvin and Agnes (Butler) Horne. He was an over the road truck driver, driving for Fleming Foods. He was in the National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Horne, of Herod, IL; his sons, James (Katie) Horne, Andrew (Christine) Horne, Carl (Renee) Horne, Steven (Lisa) Horne and Bryan Wiley; and his daughters, Anne (Dave) Rodriguez and Tiffany Wiley. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Adam Laven, Amy Laven, Matthew Horne, Nicole Horne, Josh Horne, Hope Horne and Sara Rodriguez; brother, David (Mary Beth) Horne; and a sister, Ida (Leroy) Anderson.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers.
As per his request, his body has been cremated. Watson Funeral Home, Eldorado, IL is in charge of arrangements. A celebration of his life will be celebrated, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Good Hope Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marshall Glover officiating.
