Minnie Bell Campbell, 86, of Eldorado, Illinois, formerly of Cave In Rock, Illinois, passed away on December 1, 2017.
Minnie was born on March 14, 1931 in Hardin County, Illlinois to Edward and Ethel Marie (Hazel) Spivey. She was the sixth child out of 16 children – 9 boys and 7 girls.
She was married to Noah Campbell. They had three children — Patrick, Judy, and Debbie; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, all of Texas.
She was an active member of Mt. Zion General Baptist Church until she moved away. She enjoyed attending church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed
ward and Marie Spivey; husband, Noah Campbell; brothers – Charles (Buddy), William Lee (Sonny), George Allen, James Wilburn, Bobby Gene, Billy Joe, Robert, and Kenneth (Kenny); sisters, Irene Spivey, Ann Burklow, Ella Mae Spivey, and Virginia Foster. Survivors include son, Patrick (Karen) Campbell; daughters, Judy (Chris) Kellner and Debbie Campbell, all of Texas; brother, Harry (Linda) Spivey of Cave In Rock; sisters, Barbara (Ken) Kink of Kentucky and Wanda Dixon of Eldorado, Illinois; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity, church, or the Golden Circle.
Graveside services were held at Hall Cemetery on December 2, 2017, 11 a.m., with Rev. Jeff Stone and Rev. Harry Spivey.
Colonial Terrace of Eldorado, Illinois was in charge of arrangements.
