Betty Louise (Creamer) Suits was born in Rosiclare, IL to Johnathan Creamer and Bertha Davidson Creamer on November 30, 1929. She went to her final rest on September 18, 2017 after a prolonged illness.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Charles Suits Jr.; her daughter, Elaine Suits Rahn, Palos Verdes, CA; her son, Dr. Charles W. Suits, Wichita Falls, TX; plus six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Cochran; and brothers, Willard Creamer, Jose Creamer, Jule Creamer, Henry Thurman and Wallace Thurman.
Betty and Charles moved from Rosiclare to Waukegan, IL in 1964 where they operated several successful insurance agencies. They were active members of the United Methodist Church in Waukegan. She will always be very loved and missed every day.
Betty was known for her great cooking skills with her pies and cakes always being the first to go or sell out at the church bake sales. She was always had a joke for every occasion and loved to laugh. Betty’s hobbies included square dancing, knitting, and of course cooking. She cherished her family and friends.
