Kandice Christine Highfill, 60 of rural Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville with family by her side. Kandice was born to Bob Adamson and Faye Warner on January 23, 1957.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Highfill; sons, Josh Hawes (Heather Barnerd) and Jason Hawes; daughter, Kristy Highfill Parkinson (Shawn Rorer); grandchildren, Tony Parkinson, Lea Parkinson, Trinity Grace Rorer, and Gage Hawes; brother, Bobby (Bridget) Adamson; step-father, Don (Faye) Warner; step-brother, John Warner; step-sisters, Stephanie and Nancy Warner; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Chip Adamson; father-in-law, Jim Highfill; and mother-in-law, Florence Highfill.
Barkley’s Funeral Home, Greenup, IL, is in charge of arrangements. As per her wishes, Kandice was cremated. She will be buried in Greenup Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
