Jerry Dean Fricker, 72, of Elizabethtown, IL, died Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. He was born in Hardin County, Illinois on September 4, 1943 to Marshall Fricker and Mamie (Byrd) Fricker. He was the owner/operator of Frickers Machine Shop and Salvage and a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners.
He is survived by two sons, Marshall (Pam) Fricker of Elizabethtown and Jerry Thomas (Jessica) Fricker of Elizabethtown; daughters, Jose (Gideon) Frailey of Elizabethtown and Dallas Fricker of Elizabethtown; son, Jessie Dean Fricker of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Karli Mone, Ashton Moore, Brandon Fricker, Williams Bowers, Colten Cowsert, and Conrad Cowsert.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Freeda Fricker; parents; and daughter, Marissa Lynn Bowers.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 25 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hardin County School Gymnasium. Services will be held on Tuesday January 26 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hardin County School Gymnasium. Brother Herman Hutson officiated the services. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
