Constantine Danuta died August 22, 2015 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born October 2, 1956 to the late Lidio and Dumitru Danuta. On August 3, 1981, he married Elena Kojocaru. They made their home in Iasi, Romania where Constantine worked in the construction industry. Constantine is survived by his wife, Elena; three sons, Ioan (Mihaela Ella) Danuta, Romeo Constantine Danuta and fiancÈe Maria Antighin, and Stefan Danuta all of Iasi, Romania; two daughters, Mirabella Romina (Ira) Cruson of Karbers Ridge, IL, and Simona Maria (Alin) Mihai of Iasi, Romania; and two grandsons, Robert Mihai and Matei Ioan Danuta. Constantine’s body was viewed at the Church of Biseriea Petru Si Pavel in Iasi. Services were held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Church with burial at the Petru Si Pavel Cemetery. Father Grigore was in charge of the services. Mirabella and Ira Cruson were not able to travel to Romania for her father’s funeral, but with the technology of Skype they were able to view the service in its entirety from their home in Karbers Ridge, IL.
