Norma Jean Ozee, 86, of Bourbonnais, Illinois, formerly of Manteno, Illinois died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Presence Our Lady of Victory Nursing Home in Bourbonnais. She was born Sept. 13, 1928, in Hardin County, Illinois to Loy and Alice Sandage Robinson. Norma married Marion Kenneth Ozee on July 9, 1945, in Paducah, KY. Norma worked at Manteno State Hospital. She attended First Baptist Church in Manteno. She was the mother of James and Nancy Ozee of Bourbonnais, Barbara Jean and Harold Olson of Pndleton, Oregon, Kenneth Richard Ozee (deceased), and Beverley and Harlyn Schmidt of Manteo, IL. Other survivors include sister, Eula White of Kankakee; brother and sister-in-law, William and Louise Robinson of Elizabethtown, IL and sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Trendell Lindsey of Rosiclare, IL; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband; and a son, Kenneth Richard Ozee. Norma’s grandson, Reverend Chad Ozee, officiated at funeral services at Brown Funeral Home in Manteno. Burial was held March 17, 2015 at Rose Cemetery in Hardin County. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
